Change is constant, but suffering is optional. Come learn to deal with gradual and sudden changes with brief therapy. 10 weeks will teach you new habits to build resiliency in turbulent times. Come talk to me and be free of depression, anxiety and inpulsivity. While people are quarantined health care is considered an essential service. If you are still worried videoconferencing is available. Download Zoom and it will be like we are in the same room together. Furthermore insurance companies WANT YOU to GET HELP. Insurance companies will PAY for most of it. Call your carrier to learn about telemedicine.
A modicum of insight into what is making you mad, sad, or fearful. Symptoms doesn't come out of nowhere. Usually you are responding to a change. The present is reminding you of the past. Or you could be stuck worrying about future. Or you are reacting to something in the now. Tell me the who what where and when. I will help you develop the "how" to stop feeling mad, sad and scared!
Welcome to Crossroads Counseling. Counseling is available in Monterey from an experienced, knowledgeable Spanish and English speaking therapist who uses evidence based techniques in therapy to decrease symptoms of anxiety, anger and depression. Those strategies will not only change your life and behavior, but your brain too. Who wouldn't want a better brain?
Fearing change is like having faith that bad things will happen. Therapy can help you prepare for and adapt to the unexpected or embrace the daily grind. Change can be equally thrilling as it is frightening. Bad stuff is survivable.
How do you respond to change? Are you depressed? Or are you stuck? Are you overwhelmed? Talking to someone remains a tried, true and effective method for problem solving, gaining information and emotional comfort. Do you need someone to push you a little or hold your hand? I will do both. You can learn to cope smarter and keep your friends.
Anxiety and depression are common reactions to any type of change. Support, solutions and strategies to improve survival skills can be learned. Here’s what you’ll get from me, if you do the work: better communication and time management. These will help caregivers, adults and anyone interested in living a happier more satisfying life. Could your relationships benefit from learning how to deal with change differently? Have you been told you have anger issues? Come talk to me.
What would you gain if you learned to cope better in stressful situations?
I use practical tools to help people learn how to heal themselves. Learning about the connection between your thoughts and beliefs will help inform your decision-making on actions and behaviors that may be contributing to unfulfilling relationships. CBT will help make you a better partner and employee. Want to learn more? Read on.
Zoom is the modality I use to continue to see clients who hesitate to come into my office. IN PERSON is available with a mask. INsurance companies would rather not see you in the hospital and they also would rather you not miss work because you are miserable. This is why telemedicine and outpatient mental health ARE COVERED benefits under most healthcare and EAP benefit programs. ASK your insurance. ASK the human resources department about mental health support. Want to save you your job then make the effort to save your sanity. Costsharing will always be apart of life unless you want to pay entirely out of pocket.
